Court of Honor

Last night I went my Court of Honor. I have earned 12 merit badges over the last three months. My mom and dad were there. My dad presented the merit badges to me since he is the advancement chairman.

Scout Camp

This past week I went up with my deacons quorum to Flagstaff and a scout camp called Camp Raymond. Dad and I had been planning how we were going to do this because no one in our ward had ever been to this camp. Dad used a website and a word document to figure out what merit badges I would earn while at scout camp. We planned out a schedule for me to earn seven merit badges at scout camp. So I went to scout camp and Dad came up Thursday evening. On Saturday when we came home, my mom couldn't believe I'd earned nine merit badges at scout camp. What had happened was that my leaders convinced me to try and earn two more merit badges. I also found out that according to some booklet for the scout camp states 'that for any scout to try to earn more that four merit badges at camp is considered foolish' (I doubled that).
